Myorb is designed as a private space for capturing thoughts. This Privacy Policy explains how Myorb handles information when you use the app on iOS or macOS.
Myorb may handle the following information only to provide features you choose to use:
Myorb does not require you to create a Myorb account. It does not collect advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, browsing history, health information, or payment information.
By default, your content and preferences are stored locally on your device. Myorb does not operate its own server for storing this data.
The name entered during onboarding is used only to personalize text inside the app. It is stored locally and is not uploaded by Myorb.
Your selected background image is stored locally as an app preference. It is not included in iCloud synchronization by Myorb.
Deleting the app may remove locally stored data, subject to the behavior of your operating system and device backups.
On supported iOS and macOS devices, Myorb offers an optional iCloud synchronization feature. It is disabled unless you choose to enable it in the app.
When enabled, Myorb uses Apple's CloudKit service to store and synchronize your bubble and card content between devices signed in to the same iCloud account. This synchronized content may include text, type, color, position, archive state, and update timestamps.
The synchronized record is stored in your private iCloud database and is handled by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy practices. Myorb does not operate a separate account system or its own cloud server, and the developer does not use your synchronized content for advertising, analytics, profiling, or sale.
Turning off iCloud synchronization stops future synchronization by Myorb on that device. It does not necessarily delete a record that was previously stored in iCloud. You may manage iCloud data through Apple-provided settings, or contact us if you need assistance understanding the app's data behavior.
If you choose a custom background image, Myorb asks you to select an image using the system photo picker or file picker. Access is initiated only by your action and is used solely to load the image you selected as the app background.
